the love isn't gone...the spirit is just wanderen'...grab a friend and bring them home...history is just a caption of man's ability to seize on the sweetness...it's always been there...it took a world full of young folks to take a chance on it...and they almost pulled it off...
if you read the angry comments on this post it will give you an idea of how far off we are today, to the spirit of man when this music was produced...cmon' folks, there's a better life just around the bend...
I've been having a little too much fun. but this is a non driving night and I can afford it...when I get a little toasted, my mind wanders back to a better time, a time when it seemed like the world was on the same page, un-questionably, there has never been a period in the history of man when as many people have been tappin' their toes to the same common toones...just because you weren't there, doesn't mean you can't "be there now, relax your mind and imagine that every notion you ever had about world peace and universal harmony suddenly existed...vola....you have the "Summer of Love" on radar lock, it happened, the world let it pass without "recognizing" it, but, for millions of "cosmic rangers", it was absorbed, and tattooed on our souls, and that "application" is merely on standby, waiting for you..just build it, and we will come...

My daughter, as well as the woman I've spent the last 23 years living with, were both teen-age mothers and this particular piece of music has a special place in my heart...as they do
I spent Christmas with my daughter Kimberly, Her husband Robert Quintana, my 3 grandchildren, Jackie, Robert Jr., and Anyssa...and some of their many friends, much fun and fine food was enjoyed by all...I hope you had half as sweet a Christmas as I did...
