here's Jerry Lawson and Talk Of The Town live at Yoshi's in San Francisco...I got to spend a couple of days with these fellas' in rehearsals before the show and any time you can spend with these guys and Jerry's wonderful wife, Julie, is priceless...I hope to tape them again when they return

Here it is Friday and time for me to get back to my route taping the best that Marin has to offer in local musical talent...I'll start with the Ned Endless Band at The Elks Club up by Falkirk on Mission in San Rafael...
it ought to be a pretty wild weekend...The Buddy Owen Trio will be appearing at The Broken Drum on Fourth Street in San Rafael Saturday night...just a couple of doors down from the Rafael Theatre...
also on Friday night, The Miles Schon Band will be at George's just up the street...

my good friend joe Linus pointed out this video to me recently, Cream:Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce playing "Sunshine of Your Love" live circa 1968, and seeing it for the first time I realize its shot in a style I've been trying to master for years...Happy Thanksgiving
